COHESION 2008 - Saturday Evening with Ken Vandermark, Barry Guy, Mark Sanders Trio & Oxford Improvisers Orchestra.
First night of the COHESION 2008 Music Festival: Chicago based saxophonist Ken Vandermark is simply one of finest modern jazz players around - this special trio teams Vandermark with bassist Barry Guy and drummer Mark Sanders. Last years performance by the twenty strong Oxford Improvisers Orchestra was described in the Oxford Times as “like biting into a fresh watermelon on a hot day”.
