Oxford Improvisers at The Whitehouse – Trionys

Date(s) - May 1, 2017
7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaelogy

Oxford Improvisers return to The White House pub on Abingdon Road in Oxford to welcome south German group Trionys.

Exuberantly experimental, TRIONYS break the boundaries between experimental rock, jazz and the avant-garde in a restless pursuit of new music. Their music moves effortlessly between composed and improvised material. Keyboard player Rainer Bürck, percussionist Martin Bürck and violinist Günter Marx combine electronic synthesis and live processing with their acoustic instruments, creating a music that thrives on the tension between them.

Plus members of Oxford Improvisers, both on their own and interacting with their guests.
